Are you going on a Microsoft Teams call but your environment is a mess?
With the country (England) being encouraged to work from home where possible again, you might want to know how to blur or change the background on a Microsoft Teams video call.
All you need to do is look for and click the three dots then click ‘Apply Background Effects’.
This will then open up a sidebar where you can select a range of different background effects ranging from simply blurring your background to being in a locker room, to being in a clean and tidy office space.
One thing to bear in mind is to make sure your selection is suitable for the video call you are going on.
You don’t want to change your background to a locker room if you are going on a Microsoft Teams video call to interview a potential new employee or change it to a beach location if you are going on a video call with your manager to discuss KPI’s etc.
Remember to be aware of what is in your environment before you join the call though, you don’t want to be the next person on This Morning with an explicit item in view to the nation.
