Did you know there are time-saving shortcuts? And you can find them all without Googling!
With Microsoft Teams becoming part of your daily work routine more and more, in particular over the last couple of years, why not become extra efficient when using this software.
All you need to do is remember Ctrl or Command + . (full stop).
This will show you all the other shortcuts that are available within Microsoft Teams. Yes, the list is rather extensive with well over 50 shortcuts available for the user to speed up their processes from opening settings, to starting a new chat, to opening files, to scheduling a meeting, to accepting audio calls, etc.
Now obviously you aren’t going to be able to remember each of these shortcuts instantly but with the right attitude and approach to this, you will learn the ones you find useful in no time at all. For example, starting a new chat has the shortcut of Ctrl or Command + N. That shortcut is only going to save you a matter of seconds compared to moving your mouse and navigating to start a new chat, but how much easier is it to just press two keys on your keyboard?
Learning shortcuts isn’t just about efficiency, it also improves user experience as well.
Why not start on the right foot and head over to Microsft Teams now, select 4 or 5 shortcuts that you believe you will use and benefit from the most. Write these shortcuts down and put them somewhere that is easy for you to view whilst using Microsoft Teams and over the next week make a conscious effort to use the shortcuts.
Once you are confident that you have learned these go and select another 4 or 5 and repeat the process.
